Naila - 2017
As a motion graphic designer, I had the privilege of collaborating with my longtime friend and client, Zack Whyle—a talented skateboarder with a deep passion for the sport. Zack invited me to join a freelance project aimed at crafting an engaging promotional video for ReVive Skateboards, a company celebrated for its commitment to the skateboarding community and its innovative products.

My role involved assessing the visual direction alongside the Director of Photography (DP) and camera operator. This collaborative effort was crucial in ensuring that the motion graphics seamlessly integrated with the live-action footage, capturing the dynamic energy and essence of ReVive Skateboards.

In this project, we aimed to highlight ReVive's unique story and its dedication to the skateboarding community. By collaborating closely with the DP and camera operator, we ensured that the motion graphics complemented the live-action shots, resulting in a promotional video that authentically represents Revive Skateboards' spirit and connects with its audience.
Keyframes in motion, seamless transitions, the rhythm of the board meeting the flow of visuals—designing for the ReVive campaign was a ride. Every cut, color grade, and animated element amplified the raw energy of skate culture, blending frames like a perfect line at golden hour. Timing was everything. From tracking fast footwork to integrating motion graphics that pulsed with every kickflip, the challenge was as exhilarating as the sport itself. Layering light flares, kinetic typography, and seamless transitions made the entire process feel like crafting a high-impact visual symphony.
